 A) Definition of a cookie:

Cookies are small text files sent by a website to a user’s device (which might be a desktop or laptop computer, a smartphone or a tablet) while he is browsing. a.   Technical cookies

Technical cookies are necessary for the website to operate properly and to make browsing possible; without this type of cookies, users would not be able to view pages correctly or use some services. For example, a technical cookie is essential to keep users connected while they browse the website and to store language, display and other settings. Technical cookies can be subdivided into:

    analytical cookies which can be assimilated to technical cookies if they are used directly by the site owner to gather information, in an aggregated form, on user numbers and how they use the site;

Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages based on the preferences users indicate when browsing this network. Because of the particularly invasive nature of these cookies and their impact on users’ privacy, applicable regulations stipulate that users must be duly informed of their use and consent to it.

Our website uses the Google Maps map service via an API (application programming interface) as part of the branch search. The provider of this map service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland (« Google »). In order to be able to use the Google Maps functions, your IP address needs to be saved. According to Google, this information is generally transferred to and stored on a server which can be situated in various countries, including the United States and several countries within the European Union. Geyser Investment, as the operator of the website, has no influence on the transfer of these data. The information is not transmitted until you click the “I accept” button on the map. Upon activating the map, you automatically consent to the transfer of this information. If you do not wish to consent to the transfer of this information, please do not click on the “I accept” button on the map. In this case, you can continue to select an agency without using Google Maps. This constitutes a legitimate interest as provided for in Art. 6, para. 1 (f) GDPR.

G) Google Recaptcha

To protect your data when you enter them using an Internet form, Geyser Investment uses the reCAPTCHA service offered by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland (« Google »). This query serves to differentiate whether the entry was made by a human being or in a fraudulent manner through automated machine-processing. This query includes sending your IP address, and possibly other data required by Google for their reCAPTCHA service, to Google which is why your entry is transmitted to Google where it will be further processed.

When you use the Google reCAPTCHA service, you automatically declare that you agree to the dispatching of your data to Google. However, should IP anonymization be activated on the website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union and other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to being dispatched. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it will then be shortened.

On behalf of the provider of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your usage of this service. Google will not combine the IP address transmitted by your browser during the reCAPTCHA process with any other data. Google’s deviating data protection rules apply to these data.

The processing of data is implemented by Geyser Investment on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 point f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and is based on the legitimate interest of Geyser Investment to ensure that the entries made are carried by an individual will and to avoid abuse and spam.
